Dana Smith has spent over 22 years guiding people through transformation — first through patient consultations, and for almost 15 years, through laser and light-based aesthetics. As a Master Educator in Laser Physics and Skin Histology with deep specialization in Sciton platforms, she’s trained practitioners across the US, Canada, and the UK, turning complex science into confident, repeatable clinical skill. Her path started in 2001, coordinating patient consultations long before she ever touched a laser — work that earned her the nickname “Hundo,” for converting nearly every consultation she ran. That same instinct for connection still shapes how she teaches today: she doesn’t just hand you settings, she builds your understanding from the inside out, so you walk into every treatment room knowing exactly why you’re making the choices you make. In 2016, she founded LaserSmart Education, and has since worked hands-on with clinics from Arizona to London — training providers on everything from BBL and laser hair removal to advanced skin resurfacing and consultation methodology. She now lives in West London, where she continues to teach, write curriculum, and develop the next generation of confident, skilled laser providers. Her philosophy is simple: understanding before settings. Because when you understand the why, the how becomes second nature — and that’s where real confidence (and real results) begin.
